Who is responsible
OODAC Technologies LLC operates Encore and is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact support@oodac.com for privacy questions or requests. This notice covers Encore orders, listening pages and support communications.
Information we use
We collect your name and email, recipient name, relationship, occasion, language, story, optional lyrics and style preferences, selected length, order status, generated music, feedback and favorite selections. We keep the accepted policy version, time and language and your request to start work. Payment references, discounts and transaction amounts are associated with the order. Hosting and network providers may process IP addresses, request logs and device information for operation and security. Submit only the personal details needed for your song; avoid financial, health, identity-document or other highly sensitive information.
Why we use it
We use this information to take payment, create and review your music, deliver files and transactional emails, provide support and the regeneration benefit, prevent misuse, and keep accounting and consent records. Where a legal basis is required, these activities rely on performing the order contract, complying with legal obligations, and legitimate interests in secure operation, support and service improvement. Where consent is the appropriate basis, we request it separately. Acknowledging this notice is not consent to marketing.
Service providers and transfers
Stripe processes payments; Encore does not store full payment-card numbers. OpenAI processes song briefs for songwriting. Our Mugen generation system processes song instructions and lyrics. Vercel hosts the app, AWS stores order data and audio, Cloudflare provides network connectivity, and Plume with Amazon SES handles transactional email. These providers receive information needed for their role and may process it in the United States or other countries. Applicable safeguards and provider terms govern those transfers. We may also disclose information when legally required or to protect users and the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Privacy of your collection
Customer recordings are stored privately and delivered through access-controlled links. Anyone with your private order link may be able to listen or download, so share it carefully. Admins can access commissions to review music and provide support. We do not publish your private story or songs as samples without your permission. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Storage and retention
We retain order details and recordings as needed for fulfillment, customer access and support, and retain necessary transaction and consent records for accounting, disputes, fraud prevention and legal requirements. Retention depends on the record and purpose; online song hosting is not guaranteed indefinitely. You can request deletion, but some records may need to remain for those purposes or in backups until they expire. Download any songs you want to keep before asking us to delete them.
Cookies and your choices
Encore uses local browser storage to remember your theme, a language-preference cookie, and cookies for admin authentication. Payment and hosting providers may use storage or cookies needed for their services. We do not require marketing consent to place an order. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection to processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Email support@oodac.com; we may verify your identity and will respond within the applicable legal time frame. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children and changes
Encore orders are intended for adults. An adult may commission a song for a child, but should limit the child's information to what is necessary and have authority to share it. Contact us if inappropriate personal information has been submitted. We will date changes to this notice and give additional notice where required.
